Managing Director Ron Hinder has been working at Boxability´s parent company Welsh Boxes for 27 years and is the last member of the original family that is still working for the company today. After joining as Production Manager, Ron was soon promoted to Production Director in 1985 and later became managing director in 2003.
Prior to Welsh Boxes Ron was employed as a Mechanical Design Engineer, with professional qualifications including Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
Since joining Welsh Boxes, Ron has concentrated on developing the manufacturing side of the business and worked closely with Norman Pinocci to build up sales in corrugated packaging.
Instrumental in establishing the Welsh Boxes heavy duty manufacturing facility and becoming a triwall fabricator, Ron was also part of the team responsible for rebranding parts of the company, including Boxability Performance Packaging and Packability packaging consumables.

Norman is a leading expert in the field of packaging, specialising in corrugated cardboard and has over 26 years experience within the industry. In addition to Norman’s dedication to Boxability, he is a devoted family man and is often seen heading off to the hills with five grand children and his camping gear under his arm, where he can listen to the Ospreys playing rugby in peace.
And what of the future - “We are always looking at new and innovative designs and encourage new and forward thinking. We have several green awards for recycling and for innovative packaging designs and will always look at new and exciting markets and opportunities. Watch this space..”
Chris is a key member of the design and production team with over 15 years experience in the packaging industry.
“We are committed to understanding the needs of our customers and producing quality products delivered on time at competitive prices.” Chris is very enthusiastic about his work and customer service - “Customer focus is paramount, we are constantly analysing and improving production methods and can accurately keep customers involved and informed from design right through to despatch.”
Lorraine has been with the company 22 years, having originally worked on the shop floor from leaving school, then moving to quality control, estimating, production scheduling, environmental and health and safety deputy manager to her current position as Customer Services Manager.
Lorraine is an energetic member of the team who still finds the time to run around after two teenage children and husband.
“If I don’t have the answer, I will do everything I can to get you one as quickly as possible. The customer is a company’s lifeblood and every customer is important, whether they are a big international company or a corner shop”.
